This top has more of a quiet, dressed-down elegance, with delicate strips of lace that punctuate the front yoke. Also featuring peasant sleeves and a bodice that is full in the front, a bit slimmer in the back, so that it isn't quite trapeze, but is just as graceful.

When Una launched at the end of 2007, the idea was to stitch not-basic pieces in organic cotton or reclaimed fabric and then trim it with vintage buttons, lace, or a simple screen print. The other objective was to focus on small-scale, local production. For the most part, it's just one girl, the designer. The name, Una, was chosen because in Spanish it is simply the female form of "one". But in Latin it also means "in one together". A much more powerful notion and not as lonely as she originally thought it might be. Handmade in Seattle, one-of-a-kind pieces that take the basic comfortable piece your wardrobe needs and gives it the kick of personality your fashion sense wants. Soft and versatile, these are essential designs for just about every woman out there.
