Hand Dyed Circle Scarf

Brand: Tuesday Shop

Soft and airy kimono with an open silhouette and flowy curved hem. The minimalist rectangular design creates a beautiful drape over the shoulders and produces little to no material waste by utilizing one whole piece of fabric without scraps from corners and irregular cuts. Lightweight semi-sheer woven fabric is hand-dyed in different dye techniques and patterns.

Due to the nature of the hand-dyeing process, each product varies in uniqueness and individuality, giving them a one of a kind feel. Slight variations in color and pattern are to be expected.

Inspired by a recent trip to Paris and a love for Japanese textiles, owner and designer Rian Robison has spent the last year and a half researching, experimenting and developing the original dye techniques featured in her new line. Whether painting with algae-thickened dye directly on the fabric or working in small batches to perfectly control color gradients, each piece is created from scratch at her studio and storefront located in the International District in Seattle, Washington.
